1)You can capture production shutdown through standard reports . You can enhance the production shutdown parameter values through activity/task code values
2) You can see frequent breakdown catalog codes ( map standard with some flag like -- high/medium , low etc) and see if high catalog code is > than some bench mark parameter
3) My favorite is refurbishment split valuation . If the moving average price of a specific serialized component/ equipment is more than the new value , then it is time to replec
4) Link the safety findings through catalog and based on some bench mark values , you can have a report that some parts are not safe to use
Through a highly customized decision making Z program , you may be able to satisfy customer to 80% . But subjectivity will still remain
