Unable to delete Handling unit which is in stock

Hi Friends,

I have one issue that my client is having Handling unit in stock (Storage location XXXX is designated for having HUs which are packed.)

the stock which got into system long back through a physical inventory document, since which is very old we do not have Material document history.

Now Client wants to delete HU which is unwanted.

1. We tried to delete HU by unpacking first, but system says deletion impossible because deficit of stock.

2. If we try to put deficit stock by some movement type, system will assign new HU because Material is HU managed.

Please suggest  some I inputs to resolve this.
